Although we do not have a “Locked Door” policy we strongly encourage parents to leave the hall before class begins. The students are more able to focus on the lesson without “back of the room” distractions.
If your “dancing star” is in the pre-school class we do ask you stay ‘close by in the waiting room’, as the younger students sometimes need their parent.
UNIFORM
Pre-School: Whatever the day calls for; however they need to move about freely and do things on the floor, bare feet or ballet shoes (NO JIFFY’S PLEASE, THEY ARE TOO SLIPPERY)
Pre-Primary and Above: Leotard of any colour, ballet tights or socks, ballet shoes (NO JIFFY’S PLEASE)
JAZZ/FUNK: Full length or ¾ leggings or jazz pants, stretch top (not baggy and hanging off shoulders) jazz shoes or jazz sneakers
ETTIQUETTE
• Students must wear appropriate uniform for all classes, hair should be tied back off the face and in a bun (ballet) or ponytail (jazz)
• Please arrive to class on time, if late wait for the music to stop before entering.
